Life After The Oil Crash

Civilization as we know it is coming to an end soon. This is not the wacky conclusion of a religious cult, but rather the result of diligent analysis sourced by hard data and the scientists who study global “Peak Oil” and related geo-political events.

The situation is so dire that even George W. Bush's Energy Adviser, Matthew Simmons, has acknowledged that "the situation is desperate. This is the world's biggest serious question."

IT's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine....NOT

Thanks for posting this, it is a most relevant link with great info and actually if you read, my, Rishi's and/or Sharie's (among others) newlogs you will see that we have been saying this for some time now.

Our wasteful/materialistic lifestyles are such that the planet cannot sustain, pure and simple. There have been many alternative energy sources researched and known about for years, but the big corporations and/or powers that be do NOT want to know anything about these altnernatives, because it would hurt their pocketbooks.

It is clear, that if people don't take responsilbity NOW, they will pay the consequences later. Therefore if they are afraid, or putting blame somewhere, they (most) need only look in the mirror. I know this sounds harsh and critical, but it is the truth. People must wake up and take responsible action....or???????

Aside from the lack of gas for their cars and heat for our homes...
the drinking water supply around the world is critically low.

Add to that the (I believe "intentional") deaths from pesticide-laced tobacco and the chemically-altered nicotine (53,000 deaths of non-smokers!), the aspartame deaths and disabilities, deaths from mad cow disease, the deaths from depleted uranium around the world (soldiers walk home with this and spread it to their families... it's documented from the Gulf War) and so many other "intentional" killings...

I think we're going to witness mass burials...

and wars caused from the conditions... the cold... the deaths... the starvation and dehydration...

While the millionaires and billionaires hoard the resources that will save lives... paying off "soldiers" to defend their property...

That's not the end of the story.

The world will be a beautiful place.

A whole new paradigm will surface, new energy sources..
and a wonderful world will evolve.

Just be prepared for what's to come, in the MEANtime,
and for God's Sake, get out of California.
